Aside from his familiar robe and boxing trunks, both in his signature Philippines national colors, you will also notice a pair of conspicuous footwear. In Philippines national colors as well and designed exclusively for Pacquiao by Nike, the Fight Night Boxing Shoes area series of intricate stitch works and detailed construction. Composed mainly from breathable and lightweight mesh, key portions reinforced with white patent leather overlays, additional Flywire systems were added to further responsiveness without the weight. Decorative tassels, the fighter’s embroidered name and Nike’s Manny Pacquiao icon accentuate the aspects around the heel. Meanwhile, a single row of Rhinestones emphasizes the tongue. However, don’t let these elements obscure the functional aspects of the shoes, such as the natural rubber outsole and omni-directional treads for quick stance changeovers. You could be sure this will end up on display in a Manny Pacquiao museum somewhere very soon.
